https://www.eatwell101.com/garlic-butter-steak-and-potatoes-recipe created this posts recipe! usually while i’m cooking I don’t strictly follow the recipe. If you want to look at the original recipe follow the link!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs of steak
- 1 1/2 lbs baby yellow potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions:
- Cut up your steak into strips and combine the soy sauce, olive oil, hot sauce, and add some pepper. Set that aside to marinate and start the potatoes.
- Cut your potatoes so that they’re quartered.
- Add 1 Tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil to your skillet at medium heat, and once the butter has completely melted add potatoes.
- Cook the potatoes for 8 minutes, then put them on a plate and wrap with foil. If they don’t look fully cooked still wrap them up. Eventually they will get added back to the skillet.
5. Keep your skillet on Medium heat and add 2 tbsp of butter and garlic. Let the butter melt completely!! Once your butter has melted you can start cooking the steak strips. The bowl you used to marinate the steak should have left over marinade if you add that to the skillet it will give the steak and potatoes extra flavor!

6. Here’s where the recipe could go two different ways, you can either put the steak strips in a separate bowl rapped with tin foil then add your potatoes back into the skillet for some extra flavor and cook until golden and serve steak and potatoes separately. OR you can keep the steak in the skillet and add the potatoes into the skillet, cook them until their golden, and serve the potatoes and steak in one bowl.

When I rate this recipe I give it a 10/10 it was amazing. The Steak was delicious and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. It’s a super easy recipe and fun to make. I would highly suggest trying it out!!!

Enjoy!!!
